Strategic Partnership Announced by
eLearning Innovations, Inc. (Stillwater, OK) and MicroTech  (Vienna, VA)

<March 10, 2010> eLearning Innovations, Inc, a Stillwater, OK-based company for the past 18 years and a leader in workplace learning and training, has recently established a strategic partnership with MicroTech of Vienna, Virginia, a technology solutions provider that is an 8(a) Certified and Verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).  MicroTech specializes in the Design, Implementation, Operation, and Administration of government and corporate computing environments, using Customer Relationship and Project Management tools to enhance productivity.

This strategic partnership with eLearning Innovations and MicroTech now provides federal government clients the opportunity not only for technology but also the various applications to use the technologies to their full capabilities.

Under the partnership, the companies will assist clients in content development, delivery of training materials, online hosting, and management of various distance learning programs as well as consulting services related to technology-based training and instruction. The development model used by eLearning Innovations enables online content to be created and implemented economically and efficiently.

Home Health Telemonitoring

Working in conjunction with Medicaid and Hospitals’ Home Health, eHealthcares.com is a program that provides hospital home care with the best of both worlds: the comfort and independence of staying at home, and the security of daily monitoring and proper medical attention.

How It Works

The system consists of a Compact Monitor and Scale, Blood Pressure Cuff and Pulse Oximeter, which is placed in the patient’s home.

In three minutes, the system collects a variety of vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, body weight and temperature every day.

The data is sent via a telephone line to nursing monitor stations, where a nurse reviews this information 365 days a year and responds appropriately. If there is a change in the health status or nurse, the patient contacts their physician to promptly address needs.

The vitals measurement takes just a few minutes, and collects a variety of vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and body weight.  In addition to the standard vitals, it can also be setup for optional vitals with appropriate attachment such as blood sugar or temperature.

The data is sent via a telephone line or GPRS (optional cell data device) to web based software application, where a qualified nurse reviews patient data 365 days a year, responding appropriately.  If there is a change in the health status a nurse contact the patient for assessment.  If further intervention is needed the nurse can contact their physician to promptly address needs.

Vital Signs Measurements

Every day, the Remote Patient Monitoring System along with a nurse measures:

• Heart rate
• Blood pressure
• Weight up to 500 pounds
• Oxygen saturation
• Temperature, if needed
• Blood Sugar

In addition, Disease Specific Symptoms Management (DSSM) questions can be programmed allowing for a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s status.

Benefits of Daily Monitoring

• Allows for proactive and preventive care.
• Allows for early identification of clinical needs, adjustment to the treatment plan and medications.

Reduces Emergency Room visits and unplanned hospitalizations.  At a cost of approximately $7,000.00 to $9,000.00 per patient.

<July 14, 2009> eLearning Innovations, Inc., a Stillwater-based company for the past 17 years and a leader in workplace learning and training, will be offering their eLearning program models through the General Services Administration, or GSA schedules program. The GSA establishes government contracts with commercial firms, and helps federal government offices order services directly from GSA Schedule firms. GSA Schedules create a link between government customers and the services they require at pre-determined pricing.

eLearning Innovations was awarded the contract under authorized Federal Supply Schedule 69 effective April 6, 2009, for instructor and web-based training and course development. The GSA Contract number is GS-02F-0092V.

Through a strategic partnership between eLearning Innovations and MicroTech (Vienna, VA), eLearning Innovations now includes the Certified and Verified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned  Small Business (SDVOSB).
