Homehealth Monitoring

Home telehealth is a frontier field of health care delivery that has come into regular use in the last decade.  eHealthcares.com refers to the use of electronic information and telecommunication technologies to provide and support health care when distance separates the care providers and patients. More specifically, home telehealth involves remote delivery of monitoring services. Personal medical devices are used to capture measurements of patient’s vital signs, such as blood pressure, blood glucose, and weight.  The measurements are transmitted by household telephone lines to health care nurses at their organizational offices. Telehealth contact between patient and nurses can include education delivered to tele-monitoring stations or household telephones, and coaching and teaching services to assist patients to address their daily health needs.
